The leaves are turning, the air is crisp, the nights are growing darker… it’s that time of year once more! We LOVE Halloween and throughout October our free family Saturday workshops will celebrate all things ooky, kooky and spooky. As always our workshops are free, all materials are provided and there are snacks too! Workshops run from 11am-12pm, and booking is advised.
On Saturday October 1st we’ll be pulling a Dr Frankenstein and making some monsters. But don’t worry, we will just be using paper plates, paper, googly eyes and colouring markers! You are welcome to make whatever monster you have in mind; whether it’s a dinosaur, a shark, a Monsters Inc. character or one from your imagination.
Then on Saturday October 15th prepare to get a bit messy… we will be using paint to create pumpkin paintings, using an apple as a stamp!!
And then on Saturday 29th October we have our special Halloween weekend event! Dress up in your spookiest costume and come on down to the Golden Thread Ghoulery to make some creepy cardboard creatures! We’ll have games, prizes and spooky tunes. And our GTG team will all be replaced by Witches, Ghosts and Vampires for the day… at least, we hope it’s only for the day…
