GTG is hosting three free Space Time workshops in January and February 2022, aimed specifically at older people and those with dementia and their carers, exploring the connections between ambient music and abstract art.

During each workshop we will chat about abstract art, colour, ambient music, songs and memories, as well as providing participants the chance to create their own abstract artworks and ‘play along’ on a range of percussion instruments. Artist Lesley Cherry and musician Paul Kane from the OTH Music Collective, will lead the sessions, creating an open, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and possibly encouraging some scream/loud/laugh therapy if required!

Workshops are completely free! We will provide all the art materials, plus tea, coffee and biscuits.
