We’re excited to share that we have signed up to the Kids in Museums Manifesto. It’s a set of simple guidelines for museums, heritage sites and cultural organisations that was created with children, young people and families. It sets out what they feel makes a gallery or museum a great place to visit.
We work hard to make the Golden Thread Gallery a welcoming and fun place for all kids and families. From from our Junior Gallery space to our free Gallery Explorer packs, or our Art & Learning space online (where all our free workshops live!) to our award-winning Junior Newsletter – we love inspiring a new generation of artists, makers, explorers and thinkers.
Read the Kids in Museums Manifesto below, and please tell us what you think when you visit us, either in real life or online. We always want to hear your feedback, that’s how we learn and keep getting better!
