Based in Istanbul, Elif Gulen has been photographing her home city with a mobile phone for the last 5 years. Elif will talk about how mobile photography has changed the photographic world, allowing artists to ‘revisit traditional modes of photography and image making with a newfound sense of artistry and creativity’. Elif is a member of Tiny Collective, ‘arguably a group of the most innovative and forward thinking photographic artists working today’ (http://tinycollective.com). She will discuss her personal work along with other photographers using the medium. She has produced several solo and joint projects and exhibitions with photographers around the world.
