A festive celebration on Human Rights Day 2016.
Activism Works: winning in the fight to the right to water!

In this event we will be revisiting some of the campaigns for the right to safe and clean water and bringing news of some amazing achievements. We will look at the strategies behind the successes and what inspiration we can gain from these.

We will hear from activists representing communities who are defending their land and their water from environmental destruction and degradation, both at home and abroad.

From Woodburn Forest to Standing Rock, Dakota, from Mobuoy and the Sperrins to Cajamarca, Peru, water is a universal human right.

Come join us for an animated, inspiring discussion!
