EASTER CHICK ONLINE WORKSHOP!

Hoppy Easter! To celebrate the Easter holidays, our Gallery Assistant Katharine has created two new Easter themed online workshops.

In his video Katharine will show you how to recycle a toilet roll tube and scrap cardboard into an Easter chick stamp! You can use it to make your own stationery or brighten up a holiday postcard!

Like rabbits, eggs and chicks are often associated with Easter because in pagan times they were symbols of Spring and new life.

Did you know that after Halloween, Easter is the biggest chocolate and sweets consuming holiday? More than 30 million pounds of Easter sweets are bought each year in Europe alone… that’s enough to fill twenty Olympic swimming pools!

Yum, right?
