Artist Talk by Dougal McKenzie will now take place online

Artist Dougal McKenzie will give a talk about his artistic practice and his latest exhibition ‘More Bad News‘ via the GTG Instagram channel this weekend as part of the Imagine! Belfast Festival 2020.

Dougal studied at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland from 1986-90, and University of Ulster from 1990-91. He was co-director at Catalyst Arts, Belfast from 1994-96, and co-founder of the Six into 18 artists’ projects with Nuala Gregory in Belfast and Derry in 1992. He is currently Lecturer in Painting at Belfast School of Art, Ulster University, and holds a studio at PS². He is a three-time recipient of an Arts Council Northern Ireland Award.
