In this Saturdays workshop we will be exploring the Surrealist movement, which celebrated and documented the thoughts of the unconscious mind. Surrealists often created artworks of their dreams or let their unconscious mind take over as they created automatic drawings (doodled). Leonora Carrington and Frida Kahlo are both very famous Surrealist painters. We will be taking inspiration from them as we paint our very own dreamscape using watercolour paint on paper. As this is an introduction to watercolour painting, you are very welcome to doodle like a Surrealist.
