This week we will be exploring the art movement, Fauvism. The fauvist movement began in France and placed emphasis on the use of bold colour and brushwork- so expect lots of bright colours! Henri Matisse was a famous Fauvist painter as well as a collage artist. We will be taking inspiration from his artworks as we create our very own fauvist painting. In this workshop we will be continuing our introduction to painting by using paint sticks on paper.
