Radio Relay: The Garden

The Garden
A project by Graham Fagen for Radio Relay

The Garden has been created by Graham Fagen for the site at Grey Point Fort as part of Radio Relay. Using historical references including Robert Burns, Bob Marley, Philip “ Tubby” Clayton and Haile Selassie 1 King of Ethiopia, this multi-layered audio work invites you to“Come into the Garden and Forget About the War”. The aim is to engage with the universal concepts behind war and to provide an opportunity for people to exchange their experiences about it.  This sense of exchanging experiences is at the root of most of Fagen’s work and his diverse inspirations create poetic spaces where meaning can be allowed to flourish.
