p-p-p-politics
p-p-p-politics is a collaborative project scheduled to connect the voices and the art of young people, trade unionists, north Belfast residents and art lovers with the ICTU Mayday celebrations. By placing text and image both inside of and outside the gallery (and organizing participatory events on Mayday itself), the project provides a humorous snapshot of democracy in action. p-p-p-politics has been facilitated by artists Justin McKeown, Deirdre McKenna and Fiona Goggin and is the result of a number of conversations, workshops and meetings berween the Golden Thread Gallery, the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, the Communication Workers Union, Let Youth Lead, Cliftonville Community Regeneration Forum, CAR CEP and Draw Down the Walls project team.
