An exhibition of works by Colm Clarke
defaultswill use the Project Space of Golden Thread Gallery as a process room to design and construct a series of public sculptures/interventions in Belfast city centre. The gallery space will become a mixture of building site, laboratory and conference room. The exhibition questions the role/s of labour and aesthetics in the public sphere. Clarke will formulate temporary public monuments/moments using the urban environment as source material – between the concrete, the commercial and the derelict topography of the territory.
