We’re marking World Children’s Day on Saturday 20th November by giving away HUNDREDS of free art packs to enable children across Northern Ireland to create art representing their fundamental rights. Just email us to request yours!

World Children’s Day is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness, diversity, and awareness among children worldwide, and improving children’s welfare. It’s the date when the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 and the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989. The Convention is the most complete statement of children’s rights ever produced and is the most widely-ratified international human rights treaty in history.

We have free art packs with colourful art materials and a special World Children’s Day handout available for families, schools, libraries, youth clubs and community groups – all you need to do is tell us how many you want! Collect a batch for extended family, school class groups, homework clubs – everyone who requests packs can have as many as they need, until our supplies run out!

Packs can either be collected from the Gallery or you can let us know where you are.

Email us on [email protected] to request your packs today!!

Each pack includes a special handout with a guide to some of the most important fundamental rights that every child in the world is entitled to, such as:
