Golden Thread Gallery Internship Programme

The Golden Thread Gallery offers a small number of internships on either a full time, short term basis or on a part-time basis for a minimum of 3 months.

Internships at the Golden Thread Gallery offer interns the chance to gain valuable experience in Belfast's premier internationally orientated arts venue. Internships offered by the gallery may incorporate all aspects of the gallery's work and require a practical and hands-on approach from interns. Interns can expect to learn about the day-to-day running and administration of a major international arts venue, the mechanics of organising and hanging exhibitions, gallery Outreach activities and gallery representation and sales. Interns will also be expected to invigilate exhibitions.

General Information

Internships are offered on a voluntary basis and interns are expected to work from 10.30 - 5.30 with an hour for lunch.

Please also state whether you are applying for a six-week full time internship or a three-month part-time internship. Applicants that appear to be suitable will be asked to interview.
