Artist: Victor Sloan

History, Locality, Allegiance

Curated by: Peter Richards

1st February 2008 - 05th March 2008

History, Locality, Allegiance was a solo exhibition by the internationally renowned Victor Sloan, which brought together a comprehensive selection of past works, with a particular focus on his lesser-known video works. This exhibition was an opportunity to re-examine Victor's sustained investigation into his own personal history, aspects of Protestant communities' cultural traditions and a range of images now synonymous with Northern Ireland through the period of the 'Troubles'. In addition to a selection of photographic works, three video works were shown, Little Rascals, Walk and Drumcree.
