INTERN THREE
A Draw Down the Walls project created by: Mia Bryce, Laurie Cotton, Eve Gaston, Lucy Gaston, Eoghan Gormley, Mary Kennan, Phoebs Lyle, William McIlroy, Sean McCaffrey, Luke Nelson, Harry O’ Gorman, Luke Palmer & Imogen Spence
This exhibition reveals the inner workings of INTERN THREE and finds … post-it notes, luchador masks, monkeys, lollipops, ice, instructions, dreams, metaphors, skateboards, music, fluttering butterflies and ticking clocks!
What you see on the walls is all that remains of a week-long creative extravaganza facilitated by Zhenia Mahdi-Nau, Darragh Graham, Mary Morgan and Sinead McKeever on behalf of Draw Down the Walls.
The photographs, drawings and mind maps will give you a taste of what to expect from INTERN THREE: THE MOVIE which will be premiered as part of Invisible Barriers: Moving Images on Friday 9th October 2015 in the Harbour Commissioners Office.
Draw Down the Walls is a partnership between Golden Thread Gallery, North Belfast Interface Network and Lower Shankill Community Association that uses a combination of art and community relations techniques to imagine a city without barriers. Invisible Barriers: Moving Images takes place across a range of unique sites in North Belfast and includes five triple bills each featuring one moving-image artwork, a mainstream film and a community authored collaboration that links with the theme of invisible barriers.
Invisible Barriers: Moving Images is one of seven Creative Belfast projects funded by Belfast City Council and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland through the Creative and Cultural Belfast Fund.
