Peter Richards, Gallery Director
Peter Richards, Gallery Director, has over twenty years’ experience in the arts, both as a curator and as an artist. He has led the Golden Thread Gallery since 2001 and is the current Chair of the Belfast Visual Arts Forum. Peter has initiated and realised projects across the North of Ireland, nationally and internationally.
Sarah McAvera, Deputy Director
Sarah McAvera, Deputy Director, has had over ten years’ experience in the arts facilitating, devising, curating, fundraising and managing projects. Her role includes fundraising, strategic development, management, stakeholder engagement and mentoring. She is a member of the Belfast Visual Arts Forum and the Audiences NI Visual Arts Project Team.
Catherine McLaughlin: Gallery Assistant
Catherine McLaughlin graduated in Fine Art from Northumbria. Her role includes marketing and social media as well as visitor experience and artist liaison. Catherine is a member of Queen Street Studios and has a history of events management and research and development.
